Market Settings

Market Settings allows users with Manager access to change what pulls into the VettX system, and what doesn’t.

To access Market Settings:

  • Click on the Profile Icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen
  • Click App Settings

Market Details shows you what area VettX is pulling vehicles from. To change this location, please reach out to VettX Support


Pull Options 


To view your Pull Options, Click on the profile icon in the upper righthand corner of your screen - Click on App Settings - Click on Pull Options


  • Pull Preferences allows you to change what pulls into the Fresh bucket each day. Keep these parameters broad! You can filter further through general searches and Saved Searches.
  • Listing Sources shows where we’re pulling vehicle listings from. Each market pulls in AutoTrader, Cars.com, Facebook, and Craigslist listings. Markets in Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah will also see KSL listings. 
  • If your Inbound Lead Integrations is set up, you will see the source selected on this list.
  •  Click on the blue Save Changes button in the bottom right corner to save any changes to the pull preferences and listing sources

Q: Will I see vehicles outside of these parameters anywhere in my market?

A: No, you will only see vehicles within these parameters pulling into your Fresh bucket, unless it is changed of course.


Q: Why are my options greyed out and not changeable?

A: If you can’t make adjustments on these pages because the fields are greyed out, you have Agent Access rather than Manager Access to the platform. Please connect with your manager, VettX Customer Success Manager, or VettX Support to update your settings.


Valuations


To change or view your selected book values, click on your profile icon in the upper righthand corner of your screen - Click on App Settings - Click on Valuations


VettX offers soft book valuations through KBB and MMR (national as well as regional).

  •  To change your book values, click on the book value you’d like to change and select your preferred option
  • You can save your changes by clicking on the blue Save Changes button in the bottom right hand corner.

Q: Do you offer any other book values?

A: VettX currently only offers KBB and MMR valuations. 


Q: Why are my book values not populating?

A: Book values will be visible in In The Works and the Ready To Sell buckets. You will not see them in the Fresh bucket. Please keep in mind, the KBB and MMR valuations will only populate if those valuation sources have the proper vehicle information from the seller to pull the values. These are soft books, so always do your own appraisal alongside these!


Q; Can I edit the book values to match my appraisal numbers?

A: Yes! To edit the book values you see in VettX, Click on the Year make and model in blue - Click on the pencil icon beside Vehicle Price Vaulation section - Confirm your updated values.


Exclusions


VettX allows users to add Makes/Models and Keywords to exclude from your market! VettX already looks for 200+ different keywords to filter out a lot of the “junk” in your market but you can use this to add personized exclusions. To get to excursions, click on the profile icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen - click on Market Setttings - Go to Exclusions


To add an exclusion

  • Click on +New Exclusion
  • Add your excluded make/model, or Keyword(s)
  • Once you’ve added it, you can click Clean Up Listings to remove listings containing these keywords. 

Q: If I add an exclusion, is it added for everyone?

A: Yes! Adding an exclusion is Dealership wide, meaning it will be added for all users and all VettX markets if you have multiple.


Q: How do I delete an Exclusion?

A: To delet an exclusion, click on the trash can icon to the right of the exclusion
