How Automation Works
Once a seller provides their phone number or email address in their listing description, VETTX can send the seller an automated initial outreach message!
- To see if your automation is turned on, navigate to your Market Settings, go to Automation, and look for your automation box. You should see 2, one for SMS and one for Email.
- Once you turn on your automation, giving the vehicles in the Fresh bucket a thumbs up will trigger the message! The vehicle will then move to In The Works, and the blue banner at the bottom of the vehicle indicates it was successfully sent!
- You can change what your automation says by clicking on the Settings. You can then change the template you’d like to use for your message.
Q: Will this message send to every seller when I like a vehicle?
A: No, this message will only be sent to sellers that provide contact information, as we need somewhere to send the message. As long as the seller has a phone number or email, it will be sent!
Q: How can I tell if a seller has a phone number already added?
A: Look for the "Interested in Listing? Contact Now” banner at the bottom of the vehicle cards.
Q: What phone number will sellers see when I send an automated message?
A: Sellers won’t see your personal phone number. Instead, they’ll see a masked number with an area code that’s local to your location. This allows for some privacy for you as a buyer, and it lets us pull messages back into the system! You’ll still receive notifications on your phone however.
